2022 Caddie Book

Here is the 2022 version of our caddie book for The Challenge at Goat Hill Park, Presented by Innova. Many thanks to Garrett Geuss for his fantastic work on this document. There are download and print icons on the file viewer widget immediately below this text. We will also be sending this out as an attachment to all registered players.

Pay special attention to the map legend printed on page 2. The legend displays the difference between how OB lines (red lines) and hazard lines (alternating red and white lines) are represented in both the caddie book and the tee signs. Make sure you understand the difference between how those two lines operate.

There are some holes with Front and Back Tees and some holes with only a Front Tee. Who uses which tees?

  • MPO – Plays the BACK Tee on all holes.
  • FPO – Plays BACK Tees unless there is a FRONT Tee present (Holes 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18).
  • MP40/50/60 – Plays BACK Tees EXCEPT for Hole 3, where they play the FRONT Tee.
  • On “combined” tees, FPO & MP40/50/60 pars are the FRONT Tee pars.
  • You can also refer to PDGA Scoring for the pars.

We’re enabling comments on this page below, however the best way to get a question answered is an email to the TD: ajrisley@yahoo.com.

Don’t miss…anything

Do you want to keep up on all the latest information regarding The Challenge? Of course you do! And we would sure appreciate it if you helped us get the word out. One of the best ways to do that is to follow and/or “like” our various communications accounts and platforms. Here’s how you can do just that:

Check this website from time to time. There will be stories to let you know what’s being done to organize and develop the tournament…AND how you can help make The Challenge a great disc golf tournament and event. So…save this link: https://challengeatgoathillpark.com/

Instagram much? Yeah, us too. We’re finding that it’s a great way to show off the beauty of the Goat. And it’s a great way to showcase our growing list of sponsors, partners and vendors. So if you’re the visual type, “follow” this Instagram account: thechallengeatgoathill

So you’re more into words? But not too many words? You like brief, succinct messages that get to the point (unlike this paragraph?)? So…Twitter. We do that too at: @ChallengeGoat

Do you like Facebook? We hear the Russians do too. But, let’s save the political stuff for another day. Our point? The best way to follow The Challenge on Facebook is through our Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1911903342449125/

The PDGA has a pair of event pages set up for The Challenge. The A-tier page is here. The B-tier page is here. These pages will be the best way to keep track of who is registered to play in The Challenge.

Want to register to play? Hopefully you’re not too late. If you are, there are wait lists. We’re using DiscGolfU.com for registration. The A-tier registration page is here, B-tier page is here.

And if you have questions, ideas, good jokes…send an email to the Tournament Director (Allen Risley).

Let’s do it!
