2022 is upon us and it’s time to get ready for The Challenge at Goat Hill Park, Presented by Innova Disc Golf! We’re working hard to present another fantastic tournament at the Goat, with top players and a tough yet exciting course layout. Players want payout, and straw bales for Goat-a-Mids aren’t free, so we’re raising funds with these great Innova discs sporting Andrew Laitinen’s fantastic artwork. Metal Flake Gators!!! The Gator is a great midrange disc for power players looking for a dependable strong fade at the end of flight, or players who want a disc that will blast through high headwinds and crosswinds without flipping. The flight numbers on the Gator are 5,2,0,4, meaning that it is a mid-speed disc with little glide and an ample amount of low-speed fade You can get more info on the Gator from the Innova website. These Gators are in Innova’s Metal Flake Champion plastic, which is probably one of the more overstable plastic blends that they run. These discs are “beefy”. They have a slight dome to them – I wouldn’t call them domey OR flat…they’re kind of middle of the road. And they look super cool! Weights, disc colors and stamp colors are listed in the drop-down menu.
